7 Kids Challenge Think Pink

Deep Thoughts?
Hi all-last day of scrapping and crafting. :( Headed back to Texas tomorrow-NOT looking forward to that 12 hour drive-am looking forward to seeing hubby, kids, kitties and my own bed!!

Here is my pink-flower challenge card for 7 kids challenge. This little girl from Gillian Roberts is perfect. Don't you wonder what she it contemplating while she studies her butterfly friend? Nestabilities, embossing folders and some mat stack paper for the card. Chalk on the embossed piece, i used the flower Nestabilities to cut her out, carrying over the theme. Random pink flowers and pink ribbon that I had at home to finish her off. I used Copics to color her and sponged the sky with various blue color box shades.

Pretty in PINK!

I had to add this guy to the pink-flower post. I love pigs! I have a great print in my office with a pig jumping off a dock into a lake. I like to tell people I will get that done, "when pigs fly". This guys is just perfect and probably one of my new favorite stamps. I think you can dress it up and make it a classy pig or country or silly or whatever. So I had to share...

Stamp Something-Cream and Green

Hi all! Still on my crafting vacation-so much fun, perhaps have spent a bit too much money. Oh Well I guess that is what vacations are for.  I have made a bunch of fun cards and managed to get some of Joshua's A&M graduation scrapbook done.
I love the SMIRK!

So here is the Stamp Something Challenge Card-Cream and Green! The Kraftin Kimmie Girls are my youngest daughters favorites-I thought decking one out in cream and green was perfect (especially sine her birthday is coming up). This little gal is Lillith. I love her pal the frog in his tomboy glory and Lillith in her dress...Copics markers-R00, E01, R21, YG21-25 and G85,49 and 12. I love the spica glitter pens and used them throughout. The mat stack "linen closet" had the great cream and green tones I was looking for. Prima flowers, Recollections fleurs in cream and cream ribbons and green brads finish her off.

Mo's Digital Challenge-Think Green!!!!!

THINK GREEN!!!!!!!!
Mo's Challenge is green-Helps to be an Irish Girl that is certain. I love this girl-she reminds me of my two daughters-dreamers.  Instead of flowers she is dreaming in a grove of clover. I used Copic markers for her shoes, shirt and grass area (YG03, 11, 13, 11,23 and 13) (G3-9). A stamping sponge and Color Box chalk stamp for the shading around the girl-you can use some great gold accent with the color box chalk stamps. I used the Nestabilities for the girl and background papers. The clovers are multiple pieces, buttons, glitter foam and cloth-I thought accenting the clovers with the gold color chalk-it adds a bit more BLING.

All Ready to put together

Missed it by...oh and on a side note it sucks getting old

Sweet Baby Bloom
Well bummer I missed the last challenge I wanted to be a part of. Flowers being the theme and I loved my card...I made use of the baby fairy from Mo Manning but this time I went with pinks, browns and a bit of a pop of color from the butterfly's. The rose flower embellishments give the card a three D feel that I think catches the eye...and of course with the theme in mind...I made use of my spellbinders for the "flowers" that my sweet baby sits on and more flower soft at the bottom.
I think I love her neon pink hair the best!
So why did I miss the deadline. Well that is where the, "it sucks getting old" comes in. As I am typing I am sitting here in my new contacts rocking a pair of reading glasses! READING GLASSES!!!!! Oh man. Birthday is at the end of the month and boy oh boy am I feeling it.  So new contacts, which had to be dailies since my eyes are so allergy sensitive that I have to toss them out every darn day. This is a test mind you-since I haven't been wearing contacts for almost the last year they bugged my eyes so much. Then of course I had to get new glasses since my old ones are about 10+ years old and had hoped to have those prior to the trip but that seems to unlikely...and I was a bit concerned I would end up rockin' Palin specks and that is a big no go. SO to SUM up, reading glasses, daily contacts, allergy drops, possible Palin glasses and I missed the challenge deadline, BUT <sigh> Friday is about here and next week is a short week-vacation headed my way.

Mo's Digital Challenge

I love-love-love the stamps and digital images from Mo Manning, http://digitalpenciltoo.blogspot.com/ the kids "speak" to me. It is often hard for me to find images/stamps that fit my momminess-2 boys/2 girls...and all the little things they do (pouting, singing, dancing) being them but I can find them with Mo Manning.

This challenge was flowers and spring colors. I love this little gal. Peach, creams, greens are my ideas of spring colors. I punched the flowers with vellum and added various brads to shake up the look. Little flower soft added and a reminder to think spring.
